Some of my favorite discount beauty products are from Abba. Abba is a great company that’s makes all organic, eco-friendly products.  Two of my favorite Abba hair products are the Pure Detox Shampoo and the Pure Pomade. The Pure Detox Shampoo gently cleanses and removes dirt, impurities and other heavy build up from your hair. Interestingly enough, this shampoo also contains molasses and baking soda used to restore the hair follicle to its natural balance.
 

The Pure Pomade, another great product, is perfect for anyone that wants to protect their hair and give it hold without a lot of build up or frizz. It’s suitable for all hair types and with natural mica crystals, the pomade conditions your hair and gives heat protection.
 

And some of my new favorite products are from a company called Big Sexy Hair. And with a name like that, how can you not love it already? Big Sexy Hair is all about having full, wild and ultra voluminous hair! They feature products such as a texture spray and a texturizer powder. Although these two products may sound the same, they have some notable differences.
 

The texture spray, called Flip It Over Full & Wild, gives incredible volume and texture allowing you to create a fun, full and wild look without adding any stiffness or weight. Shake the can well, spray into dry hair, scrunch and tousle as desired and when you’re done just flip your hair back over!
 

The texturizer powder, affectionately called Powder Play, is a powder (yes, a powder!) that you can apply to dry hair! It creates maximum fullness and dimension to lifeless hair instantly (or in 13 seconds, but who’s counting?)One of the best parts about this product is that it’s odorless, colorless, and weightless! Just sprinkle a small amount of powder onto the roots of your hair to achieve amazing fullness! A perfect solution for limp or “hat” hair!

Good day fellow hair lovers! Although I like to keep all of our blog readers informed on the newest salon products that are available within our store, I also like to give hair styling tips from time to time. Not only does this give you guys new ideas for styling your hair, but it also goes more into detail of how to use our products better. Featured in today’s post are a few tips and suggestions on how to achieve certain looks by using some of my favorite Kenra hair products!

Kenra Curl Defining Crème is a great product to use for curly hair whether it’s permed or natural. With a hold index of 5, this crème refines and separates curls, waves and spirals while keeping frizz and flyaways at bay.  This product is also humidity resistant which is great for anyone that leaves in a hot climate. To use this product start with your hair damp or wet. The thicker or longer your hair is, the wetter it might have to be to achieve your desired look.  Begin applying 1-2 pumps of the product to sections of the hair. If your hair is extra thick or long, you may have to add more of the product. Once the product has been applied to the hair, either blow dry using a diffuser or let the hair air dry.
 

And if you’re looking for a product that can be used to achieve at least 3 different looks, try Kenra Clear Paste.  This “paste’’, which is actually clear, gives maximum control and provides a glossy finish. It’s also water soluble so it will not build up in your hair. There’s at least three different looks you can achieve by using this one product:
 

For quick touch-ups, or to give a little definition to the hair, apply a small amount to your fingertips and apply to the targeted area.
 

For more of a textured look, or for those that have curly/wavy hair, apply the product to damp or semi-wet hair and work the product in with your fingers. Allow hair to air dry or use a blow dryer with a diffuser.
 

For a sleek/smooth look, apply a generous amount of the clear paste to damp hair with your fingers in a “smoothing down” motion.  Brush or comb hair into desired style or you can flat iron.

3) When taking a shower or having a half-bath, cover your hair with a shower cap but it is best to wrap your hair first with a towelette so it will absorb the moisture that may ruin your current do. This will also protect your hair from getting wet. However, when pulling your hair back or upwards, be careful not to apply too much pressure in it as it might squash it. It is necessary to treat your hair gently and carefully. The ends of your hair should always be kept dry and away from your face as possible.

4) After doing any physical activity like working out, the hair should be dried and returned to its dry phase. The hair should be blow dried in order to return its volume or it can be left to dry naturally.

5) The natural oils of your hair and scalp may flatten your blow out on either the second or third day. The best remedy for this is to use a hair powder on the roots to help absorb the moisture. You can also use a dry shampoo if hair powder is not available.

6) Ask for some pointers from your favorite hair stylist on how you could give extra care for that current do. Hair stylists love caring for great hair so they would be glad to give you some advices. They want you to become a return customer to their salon too so they would willingly give this as a bonus service for you.

7) Stay away from flat irons as when it mixes with your hair’s natural oils, it will make your hair flat in just a day.

When you want to blow dry your hair at home, use a product of high quality as it would be worth it than spending money on cheaper products which would not deliver great results.

9) Avoid using heavy hair products as they weigh the hair down. Help your hair breathe and lessen the build-up of hair’s natural oil by wrapping your hair at night. These oils increase moisture on your hair which makes the hair down.

You can always lengthen the life of your beautiful blow out by following the above tips. Some of the tips may be effective for you while some you may not find that useful.
